Mission Statement

Stop the Slow Bleed!

Our Mission

U.S. Workers Alliance exists to empower American workers to exercise their constitutional and statutory rights without fear of retaliation. We are a community platform for those who believe in the fundamental principle that American workers deserve real protection when they act collectively to demand fair wages, safe working conditions, and dignity in the workplace.

Important Distinction: Buildup Cooperative (dba U.S. Workers Alliance) is not a membership organization. We welcome all workers who share our values and support our mission. Anyone may advocate on our behalf and support our cause. However, no individual may represent themselves as being part of, acting on behalf of, or authorized to represent the organization unless they have been specifically designated in writing by Buildup Cooperative.

Who We Are

We are a movement of 170 million American workers—union and non-union alike—who recognize that current labor laws are “Paper Tigers”: fierce in appearance but powerless in reality. Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act guarantees every worker the right to organize, discuss wages, and act collectively for mutual aid and protection. Yet these rights vanish when workers attempt to exercise them, because employers face only trivial penalties for retaliation.

What We Stand For

  1. Real Enforcement, Not Symbolic Laws – We demand that Congress pass the Comprehensive Labor and Worker Safeguards Act (C.L.A.W.S. Act) with meaningful penalties ($50,000+ per violation), rapid justice (30-day resolution), and personal accountability for executives who violate worker rights.
  2. Protection for All 170 Million Workers – Worker rights should not be limited to the 10% in unions. Section 7 protections apply to every American worker, and our platform serves the 90% who have been left behind by the pro-union vs. anti-union political battle.
  3. Peaceful, Legal, Democratic Action – We believe in using every peaceful, legal, and democratic means available to transform Paper Tigers into Iron Lions. We will vote, organize, speak, march, and act until Congress delivers real enforcement.
  4. No Symbolic Victories – We reject hearings that lead nowhere, expressions of sympathy without action, and laws that look strong but lack enforcement mechanisms. We demand one thing: passage of the C.L.A.W.S. Act into law with full enforcement.
  5. Workers First, Unions as an Option – Two coworkers discussing wages in a break room form a legal union under Section 7, with all the same protections as major unions. Workers have rights first; unions are simply one way to exercise those rights.
  6. Accountability Over Ideology – We judge politicians by actions, not party affiliation. Any member of Congress who votes against final passage of the C.L.A.W.S. Act will be scored as opposing workers, regardless of symbolic support.

Our Commitment

We are not anti-union. We are not anti-business. We are pro-enforcement. We believe that honest businesses should not be undercut by companies that violate worker rights with impunity. We believe that workers deserve the same workplace protections they have as citizens.

We seek not revolution, but enforcement. Not destruction, but fulfillment. Not new rights, but real enforcement for the rights we already possess.

The Binary Choice

We offer every member of Congress a clear choice:

Option 1: Pass the C.L.A.W.S. Act with full enforcement mechanisms and meaningful penalties. Stand with 170 million workers. Earn our electoral support.

Option 2: Reject or water down the C.L.A.W.S. Act. Face systematic replacement, district by district, election by election.

This is not negotiation. This is a notification.
